The Kudu

The kudu (Tragelaphus) is a species of antelope that is found in Africa. It is a screw ox horn and belongs to the family of the bovid (Bovidae). The kudu bull has helically twisted horns. The female fog except the horns also striking mane of the male.

The Greater Kudu is about 1.5 meters high and has a gray-brown fur. They are found mainly in the hill country, preferably near water, in small groups of about 10 animals. They are real jumpers, a jump of 3 meters high when they are on the run no problem. The Kudu are the grandest of the spiral- horned antelope that can be hunted in Namibia. Hunting Kudu can be extremely challenging, as it is very sly and extremely elusive with exceptional senses.
